on the spot
hi there! it's time for another a-muse-a-palooza challenge over on the a muse news blog! this week's challenge is called *spot*! another fun one that is super open to interpretation! i am so looking forward to see what is created! here is the first card that i made for this challenge...i used the spotlight technique! :) this a technique i haven't done in forever but it is really easy and fun! there is a great tutorial over on splitcoast for it if you are interested. i hope you get a chance to play along with the challenge this week!
this next card i made for my husband! i was still stuck on last week's *twilight* challenge, and i was thinking about a post missy had a while back about stamping on these little wood pieces. so i whipped some out and gave it a try! you can get a bag of them at michael's for only a couple of dollars and i think they are pretty cute and fun to use! lots of possibilities! i stamped right onto it and colored it with copics and a white signo gel pen (had to make eddie's face white!!). i gave this to my dh and he got a big kick out of it. he definitely doesn't share my twilight obsession, but he is very nice about it, lol!!
and this last card i made for this week's cas challenge over on splitcoast, to make cas birthday cards. i basically just got out all of my favorite stuff and put it on this card! the colors, the cupcakes, the sentiment, a metal rimmed tag, the paper piecing, the gingham paper, and it was done! :) i hope you are having a great day! thanks for visiting! :)
