did you know that i love giving teacher gifts? i do! i give my kids' teachers a little something for lots of holidays through the year. i usually give a gift at the start of school, one for halloween, one for christmas, one for valentine's day, one for easter/spring, one for teacher appreciation week, one for their bday and one for the end of the year gift. nothing too huge, just a little something that reminds them that they are appreciated, like monogrammed notecards, starbucks gift cards, personalized notebooks, things like that. this year both of my boys have 2 teachers so i have been making 4 of each thing. so here is a little gift i am giving them for easter/spring. last year i heard about peep smores, and the other day while walking through target, i saw the peep display and i decided to make some peep smore packages! :) this is the one i made for my niece. the ones for the teachers have yellow peeps (so i did everything in yellow instead of pink) and i didn't get them the peep beanbag you see here, but everything else is the same! the first picture shows what i put in each bag, a hershey bar, a package of peeps and a package of graham crackers. i found the peep bean bag at target and it was so cute i had to get one for my dd and one for my niece. then i found this cute $1 stamp from michael's to go along with a muse's *to one of my favorite peeps* sentiment and i made a little tag. i printed the recipe on the computer and attached it to the back of the tag (picture #2) so they would know how to make them and then i stamped the bottom of the bag with the stamp too (picture #3). of course, we had to make some for ourselves to make sure they were good and they are yummy!! :) the peeps get really big in the microwave and the kids were all excited to see that! i hope the teachers like them! happy one tree hill tuesday!! thanks for visiting! :)

Your kids have some VERY lucky teachers!! You are the biggest SWEETHEART!! How thoughtful of you!! This is such a cute idea & SO cute!! I went to my local Michael's to look for this stamp, & they didn't have it. In fact, they didn't look like they have any of the Easter ones in the $1 bin. :( This is AWESOME Jennie!!
