hi there! i saw some super fun challenges out there and i had to play along! this first card is for my favorite challenge, the paper smooches sparks challenge! the inspiration picture (below) is completely awesome, and right up my alley. light blue and white and very clean. love it! since i am a member of the paper smooches club, i get the new sets each month before they are even released (how cool is that?!?!), and i decided to use a new one for this challenge. this set could not be any cuter!!! it is called chilly chums and it will be available on 10/1. crazy cuteness! it is filled with adorable little winter animals, all kinds of fun accessories to dress them up and sweet little sentiments like this one. this little seal is my favorite image so i used her for this card, and i dressed her up with a scarf and a bow. i was inspired by the cool colors of the inspiration picture, along with the roundness and the glass, hence the snowglobe. :) i think i see lots of chilly chums snowglobes in my future. :) click on the inspiration picture to head over to the sparks challenge site.
this next one is completely different, and i made it for this week's cas-ual friday challenge. it is a fun one too! the challenge is to *toot your own horn* by creating a card based on your blog banner. wow is that easy for me, lol! my blog banner is a picture of disneyland so i went with a disney-themed card. as i have mentioned a million times, we *love* us some disneyland. we go all the time, (in fact we are going sunday!) and it truly is the happiest place on earth for us. :) they put up their fall decorations a couple weeks ago, so i went with a fall disney theme. i used a small mickey ears punch with a lot of different patterned paper and a paper smooches sentiment. i can't wait to send it to one of my disney-loving friends. :) click on the cas-ual friday badge below to head over to the challenge site. i hope you are having a fabulous friday! thanks so much for visiting today! :)
