i love teacher gifts! :)

hi there! the last day of school was thursday and all i have to say is *woooooooo hoooooooooo*!!!!!!!! i *love* summer and everything it brings, no school, sleeping in, the beach, the sun, the pool, no schedules and lots of free time!!!! yay!!! :D another thing i really love is making teacher gifts. :) both of these cards are sets that i made for my kids' teachers and i wanted to share them here but i didn't take pictures of them, so i re-created them. i just noticed that this week's cas-ual friday challenge is all about getting edgy. these cards fit perfect with that, since i used su's spiral border punch on them. that little punch is so handy, and i love doing it on the edges of the cards for a little something different. they are super cas, but when you are making sets, sometimes cas is the way to go! the thanks is from papersmooches, the images are from kim hughes' retired chf sets, and the papers are from a muse. the teachers really liked them, so i was thrilled about that! also, since i make a good amount of teacher gifts, i created an album on the left side of my blog for them. and one more thing, speaking of classrooms, i was just chatting with one of my son's friend's mom, and she has a blog too. she creates tons of adorable things for the kids in their class, and posts them plus directions on how to make them. she is actually has a blogaversary giveway going on right now for a bakerella book, so go check her out and enter into the drawing! her blog is called roommom27. i hope you are having an awesome day, and thanks for visiting! :)
